Michelle Obama's introduction of the Let's Move campaign in 2010 - connecting to "The Ideograph", Invitational rhetoric and/or a few concepts from "How the Media Shapes Political Campaigns"
House of Cards and how representations of minority groups (women, African Americans, Asians, and Middle Easterns) reflect somewhat traditional media portrayals of these groups and contribute to society's already-held assumptions about these groups. Readings/theories - "Ideograph" and Burke's "Dramatism".. possibly the Public Sphere
Adbusters' "Buy Nothing Day" campaign - the public sphere; Invitational rhetoric
All of these sounds really interesting. I would go with either the first or third article, only because I know I'll be reading at least two other articles on House of Cards. However, if you're really sold on House of Cards, go ahead and go with it!
